This course explores a design methodology, criteria, and approach for designing a consisting of
VMware® ESX™/ESXi 4 and VMware vCenter™ Server 4. This course, by discussing VMware
vSphere™ 4 virtual datacenter architecture the benefits and risks of available design alternatives,
provides information that supports making sound design decisions. This course also provides an
opportunity to practice your design skills by working with peers on a design project.

At the end of this course, you will have applied the design methodology, criteria, and approach to create a vSphere design based on one or more case studies.
